Children's Area Activities*

The Children’s Activities Area contains two large activities tents, which will have free arts and crafts and traditional games throughout the day. This year’s crafts will include spin art, paper flowers, face paint, pet rocks and our special new passport. There will also be crafts such as Bulgarian door hangers and Bulgarian bells to celebrate the culture of Bulgaria. Games and activities will include musical chairs, balloon pop stomp, hot potato, sack race, simon says, dizzy bats, bean bag toss, hula-hoop contest, and pie eating contests.

BARBARA MARY TYBURCZY, our games coordinator, is an elementary Physical Education teacher in Linden, New Jersey. She graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 1982, and started her career as a high school education teacher in 1985. From 1985 to 1999, Ms. Tyburczy coached girls’ soccer and basketball.
