Demographics

Located in central New Jersey just five minutes from the NJ Turnpike Exit 9, the NJFF attracts festival-goers from throughout the state, its bordering regions as well as from as far away as New England and Virginia. Recent surveys show that nearly 40% of attendees are from New Brunswick's home county of Middlesex. Twenty-five percent of the audience travel from the four surrounding counties of Somerset, Union, Mercer and Monmouth, while all remaining counties in New Jersey are represented in total by another 25%. Eighty-four percent of festival-goers have attended the event in previous years.
